Another shore favorite was taking a ride in a rolling chair along Atlantic City's boardwalk back in the day. From the inlet up to the President Hotel the shtarckers would push and people would peer at the sights and scenes along the boards, sometimes stopping to say a quick "hello" to familiar faces. By day we were into a different kind of ride, pedaling bikes up and down the boards till we were shooed off. Either way it was a memorable way to spend a summer day.
