It was a never ending feast of foods that could clog your arteries even before you ate it--shmaltz herring, smoked chubs, kasha varnishkes, stuffed derma, flanken, potato latkes, tzsimmes, kishkes and other kosher killers. Then at night there was a floor show featuring a Jolson sound alike, a lousy comic, and the singing Schnitzer Sisters direct from the Catskills. What a time...what a place!
